Day 10 Arriving in Chongqing

We had breakfast as usual this morning and got ready to leave the boat. Once in the city, we met our new city guide, Legend. He was really funny and spoke the best English of all the guides, so far. Even though he graduated from University with a degree in English, he said he was taught "Chinglish" because that's what his professors spoke. He indicated he learned correct pronunciation from watching hundreds and hundreds of American movies on DVD.

We enjoyed the bikers with an American spirit, and it seemed they were proud of their bike.
Chongqing was a large city with interesting buildings and the potential to be beautiful, except for the smog. The heat and humidity made it very uncomfortable, even though this was only April 1st. We were glad we would only be here for part of the day.
