After we checked into our hotel we piled into 10 passenger "golf carts" for a ride into the countryside to see a little of how the local people lived. Along the way, we stopped to take pictures of some animals and scenery and were surprised to find vendors surrounding us as we got out. After a couple such stops, we finally realized that they were following us on motor scooters. Finally, we were joined by a larger group of tourists and the vendors followed them.
After a while, we were beginning to feel like friends, so here is a picture of a particularly persistent girl.
