The Hill of Solitary Beauty was on a University campus--one that specialized in art. The main attraction of the hill was all of the Chinese poems written on the side of the hill. One was a 900 year old military report--so they knew exactly what was going on in the area at that time. There was also a 1000 year old document. The hill was very interesting, but the university was even more fun. We came upon a demonstration of how exams were carried out in ancient times, and got to "take" the exam.
In addition, there was an art gallery that benefited the school by selling donated art. We were able to purchase four small pictures representing Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
